Hi I'm Billie.

I raised 4 children. I'm a nurse. I love hiking, reading, movies and sewing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of four grown children. I work as a nurse and love serving others through my job as well as volunteering. I love to cook, sew, hike, and read. I'm teaching myself to braid rugs. I want to learn to play the violin. I love being around water, whether it is the ocean, lake or stream.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church, however, I came to realize that was not a good enough reason to stay. I needed to know, for myself, if the teachings of this church were true. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to my Father in Heaven for an answer. I know without a doubt that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. As I have strived to live the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life, I grow closer and closer to Him. As a member of His restored gospel, I still must face trials, but as He promises, my burdens are made lighter and I am strengthened through my faith. This Gospel is the source of all my knowledge and strength. Jesus Christ is at the helm.

How I live my faith

I try to serve others both in and out of the church. I was privileged to work overseas as a nurse offering humanitarian service to the poorest in Indonesia for a Summer. It was a wonderful experience, but I find that I can serve others anywhere. We never have to look far for someone who can use our help.
