Hi I'm Kellie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Mormon. I'm a Minnesotan. I'm a teacher. I'm a wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it provides me with the true gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. The gospel has given me so much comfort and direction throughout my life. I know that this church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that we have a living prophet on the earth today who is Thomas S. Monson. I know that God has given us all of these things because we are His children and He loves each one of us and that living according to the gospel of Jesus Christ will allow us to live with Him again some day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by doing my best to follow the Lord's commandments. I try to do what I can to serve other people around me. Reading my scriptures and praying daily helps me to do this and to be an example of the things that I believe.

What is being a Mormon like?

Kellie
Being a Mormon and having the fullness of gospel of Jesus Christ in my life has been the greatest blessing I could ever have asked for. It has given me a knowledge of who I am, a child of God, where I come from, why I am here on Earth, and where I am going. It gives me a sense of purpose and direction in my life. Being a Mormon, I feel as if I have a support system no matter where I go; there are always other members of the Church willing to help me however they can. Attending church each Sunday gives me the opportunity to learn from other members and be strengthened by their testimonies. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Kellie
The biggest testimony to me that God lives and that He is our Heavenly Father are the small blessings I see in my life every day. Things like the feeling of peace that I get as I pray to Him and know He cares and listens, getting a message from a friend or a family member who tells me exactly what I needed to hear that day, finally getting the perfect job after applying and interviewing for a hundred others, or doing better on a test or assignment than ever I thought I could. I notice small things almost every day that testify to me that there is God, that He loves me, and wants me to return to Him. Show more Show less
