Hi I'm Sandy.

I'm a wife, a mother, a former medical claims processor, a current stay at home mom, and a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Minnesota. I attended high school and college in Wisconsin. I met my husband at church, we dated for two years, he served a mission for two years in Georgia, and when he returned from his mission we were married in the Saint Paul Minnesota Temple. I worked in the insurance and health care industry for eight years. I currently am a stay at home mom and my husband is a high school math teacher. We live in Wisconsin. In 2009, our son Michael died. In 2011, our daughter Emma was born.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon faith. My grandfather was a Lutheran with 28 years perfect attendance until he met Mormon missionaries, read the Book of Mormon, prayed about the truthfulness of its contents, and was baptized in the Mormon Church. My father, my mother, and I were each baptized when we were eight years old. When I was fourteen I attended bible class, known as seminary, prayed about the truthfulness of the scriptures, and gained my own personal witness and testimony of Jesus Christ and His gospel.

How I live my faith

Over the years I have lived my faith as I attend church, read the scriptures, pray, and serve in my church and community. I have served in my community through ringing bells for the Salvation Army, visiting nursing homes, and working at food pantries. I have served in my church through working in the temple, teaching the children, teaching the youth, teaching adult women, maintaining the bulletin, and teaching with the missionaries.
