Hi I'm Nate

I was born in California, but I mostly grew up in Utah. I know that God lives and loves us as does his son Jesus Christ.

About Me

I'm a father of two sons. I love being married. I love science fiction and fantasy. I am an aspiring author of sci-fi & fantasy. I read a lot. I'm intelligent. I like technology. I'm a nerd.

Why I am a Mormon

I have studied this Church and its teachings, the scriptures, and asked God if this Church and the gospel that it teaches are true. An abiding powerful witness from the Holy Ghost (also known as the Spirit of the Lord) has witnessed to my heart and mind that it is true. These communications have often come through feelings of peace, a still small voice (see 1 Kings 19:12), and even a burning in my bosom (Doctrine and Covenants 9:7-8) and I know that these feelings and persuasions to my mind come from God for they have brought only goodness and gladness to my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting as the savior would if he were here. I strive to always treat others with respect and dignity. I seek only good things and to stay away from anything unwholesome or sinful. I serve in my congregation (I've watched children, been a secretary, and even Scout Master in life).

What is being a Mormon like?

Its great to be a Mormon (aka LDS), no really it is. That being said its a lifestyle as much as a belief and a way of behaving. I let the gospel of Jesus Christ govern everything I do, say, act or participate in. and it helps me to achieve the best person I can be. Show more Show less
