Hi I'm Kristin Bassett

I grew up in Utah. I love to travel and see new places. I'm a wife and pregnant with twins. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life! What's not to love? I live in a small town where I attended Brigham Young University-Idaho and received my Bachelor's degree in Communication, emphasis in Public Relations. Now I am just waiting for the love of my life to finish his degree. I love to see new places and have a lifelong dream to backpack Europe. I am also crazy about cooking and enjoy experimenting with food, even if I still have much to learn. I have always wanted to be a mother, and that dream will soon come true when twins will join our family in September 2012. I love to play games, listen to music, sing music, read a good book, and meet new people. I love spending time with family, having some alone time, and most of all being with my dear husband. I love to be outside, the sound of babies laughing, planning a fun party, and trying new things. In other words, I love a lot of things!

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the gospel, I have gained the knowledge on my own that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church on the earth. I believe we are all children of God, who sent his son Jesus Christ to the earth to redeem us from the mistakes that we make. I know that God lives. I know that his son, Jesus Christ, also lives. I know that we are on this earth to learn, experience, and prepare ourselves so that we can return to our Heavenly Father's presence. This knowledge means everything to me and influences the way I live my life. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each and every day. It is not something that only has influence or importance on Sunday or a day of worship. Praying to my Heavenly Father, reading the scriptures, and striving to be a better person is something I try to do every day.
