Hi I'm Greg

I work in IT. I am into board sports and mountain biking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California and was outside as often as I could. I still love being outdoors. I grew up very active in wakeboarding, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, mountain biking backpacking, rock climbing any thing outdoors. I now have three kids and great wife that has moved me to the Midwest where we have lived for the last five years. I work in IT which I studied in my undergrad days in college. I finished an MBA recently to work closer with business units in finding IT solutions. I am a little unusual in that I am a geek (I love electronics and computers) and someone who loves the outdoors. I have had the opportunity to work with both by volunteering for rally racing supporting stages with communications ( I have my amateur radio licence) and volunteering for US Forest Service.

Why I am a Mormon

The first and foremost reason I am a Mormon is that I know that this is Christ's Church. I have had a witness from the Holy Ghost that has let me know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's church on the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was the Prophet God revealed these truths to. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ. My dad became a Mormon when I was almost one year old. Mom was a member but not active till after my dad joined. After my dad joined my family became active and we have been active ever since. I have no single event in my life that I would say has caused me to believe in the Church and its teachings. I have found that as I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon I continue to have my testimony strengthened. I never have had a time when I hear or share the story of Joseph Smith's first vision that Holy Ghost does not witness to me that event happened. I am grateful that I know that Jesus is the Christ and that because of his love I can one day live with him and our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I think living your faith is vital to being a follower of Christ. I help our local church by assisting those in our community with everything from moving, yard work, praying with and for them and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I try to do the things I think that Christ would like done for those that are in need of help both temporally and spiritually.
