Hi I'm Annie

I am a mom with a teaching degree. I love to read, sing, and create. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love staying home and taking care of my son and twin girls but I don't love the housework! I get so excited watching children's faces light up when they learn something new. I love to discover new things too and reading is my favorite way of doing this. Singing is another thing that brings me great joy especially when I get to do it with my family or friends. I also enjoy creating small things such as cards and pencil drawings. Decorated cookies are my favorite things to create because you get to eat them, preferably with some ice cream too!

Why I am a Mormon

I am so very grateful to be a mormon because of three big things. First, I am able to have the Lord's spirit with me, guiding me and comforting me all the time. Second, I receive the blessings of God's priesthood power strengthening and fortifying me. Third, I get to listen to God's living prophet - the man who has God's authority to lead us here on the earth today. These things give me hope peace and joy!

How I live my faith

I find joy in serving others. For me, this is the best way to be like our Savior, Jesus Christ. Often, I am only able to serve my family, but whenever I can I try to help at least one person outside my home each day. I try to keep my mind and heart pure so that I can get help from the spirit of the Lord and serve the people that he has in mind for me to help. This also helps me when I teach and play with the 2 year old class at church on Sunday.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

We believe that the Holy Ghost is the Holy Spirit of the Lord. He is the comforter sent to us from God to help guide us and to testify of truth. He does this by bringing joy, peace, hope and love to our minds and hearts. The Holy Ghost can testify of truth to anyone asking in faith. After we are baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints often called Mormons then we may receive the gift of the Holy Ghost to be with us all the time, if we live worthy of it.
