Hi I'm Anna

I'm a mother of two and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

All I wanted to be as I grew up was a mom and that is what I got. I am good at a lot of things, but did not graduate college and never established a full time "career" outside the home. Before I became a mother I was an Accounting Clerk and then a Billing Specialist, so working while being a mother made little sense to me, anyway, since most of my check would go to childcare. My husband is so awesome in that he works for our family. He has done, and will do, whatever it takes to make us survive and keep me from having to work outside the home. I am very blessed to dedicate my life to my children, my husband, and my home. I love to be resourceful and better myself at things like sewing and crocheting. I make my own baby food and cloth diaper. I love to cook healthy meals and soon I will take on gardening. I am a clean and neat freak. I love to teach my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. I was raised in an LDS home, but that is not "why I am a Mormon". I gained my testimony initially through the shining example of my mother and others who I watched in the church, throughout my life. I continue to be active in the church and live His gospel because it makes me happy and it blesses my life. All that I am taught and learn through the gospel makes sense and rings true to me. The Lord Jesus Christ does lead this church, it is His church, and I know he loves me because of what I have learned being a member of it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I serve in the ward (church area family) and neighborhood as a leader. I visit other sisters in our ward and share my testimony with them, we uplift each other. I currently serve in the ward as the Cub Committee Chairman for the Cub Scout pack sponsored by our ward. It is a great opportunity to help keep the program running smoothly and see how the boys benefit from it. Scouting is a great program for young boys and men.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

The Bible is the word of God and testifies of Jesus Christ and gives first account of his earthly ministry performing miracles, teaching the true doctrine, setting up his church on earth. Show more Show less
