Hi I'm Ben

I love life. I survived cancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family. My parents have five kids and I am the second youngest. We are always doing things together. Biking, sledding, hiking, camping, eating, and watching family home videos are some of my favorite things to do with them. I love sports. I enjoy anything that is active, but my passion is soccer. I play the cello, I am terrible at English, I love to sight see and meet new people. If I could pick any job I would be an oceanographer. My father and mother taught me to trust the Lord in all things. When I faced the trial of cancer I was supported and strengthened by my family. They comforted me and pointed me to Christ. My testimony of my Savior and His love and understanding of me were became stronger. I am thankful to God for a family who loves me and taught me principles that bring peace to my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I had always done things that my family had done. I went along with the activities that they did. As time went on I began to think about what I was doing and why. I decided that I did not want to continue doing things that were just silly and had no real effect on my personal happiness. I decided to find out if God really did live and if He was really guiding us today. I followed the guidelines set by the Lord, and the promises that He made came true. I came to know that He lives and that this is His truth compiled all together. I came to know for myself.

How I live my faith

I live what I believe. My faith guides my life. I have the great opportunity, for two years, to share what I know to be true with others. I give up my own interests for what I believe. I have taken up my cross to follow my Savior in whatever He asks of me. I teach every one that will listen the gospel of Christ. I watch people searching for purpose, peace and hope change to happy people with understanding and easy consciences. I share the hope that is in me with everyone I meet, everyday.
