Hi I'm Anne

I love dance, I love learning, I love my family, and I love Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of ten children--I know, that's a lot. :-) But even though life at home is sometimes pretty wild, I love my family more than I can even say. I'm studying psychology at college. I also love history, music, science, dance, and art.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, so as a child I kind of took it for granted. As I grew older, however, I gained a personal knowledge that the Church is true. This knowledge came through many wonderful experiences that built upon each other. Each of these experiences helped moved my testimony of the Gospel from my head to my heart.

How I live my faith

I study my scriptures and pray daily, I attend church on Sundays, and I have time set aside each Monday night to be with my family. My current calling in the church is Primary pianist--this means that I play piano for the children's meetings on Sunday. I do my best to live the principles of my faith, no matter where I am or who I'm with.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Anne
No. All worthy young men are asked and expected to serve missions at or soon after the age of 19, if they are physically able and if they are members of the Church at that age. Women, on the other hand, are not obligated to go in the same way as the men. If they are worthy, however, and have a desire to serve, they are welcomed and needed in the mission field.
