Hi I'm Paige

I'm un undeclared university student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a university student currently trying to decide what to study and slowly but surely figuring out what life is like in the real world. I'm the youngest in my family, with 5 other brothers and sisters, one of whom is my twin. I love playing sports and being outside, sun, rain, sleet, or snow. Among my favorites are Softball, Flag Football, Ultimate Frisbee, and Skiing. I also love to sit down and read a good book anytime. In general I just like to hang out with my family, and friends and make the best out of whatever happens to me.

Why I am a Mormon

To be honest, I was born and raised in the church. It hasn't been until the past couple of years that I've really taken the time to find out for myself if it's true or not. I didn't happen all at once, but I did find out for myself. In reality I'm a Mormon because I'm selfish, strange huh? But following the teachings of this church makes me happy. It's a happiness that comes from doing the right thing and knowing the truth.

How I live my faith

My faith doesn't just involve church on Sundays. I'm an active member in my community as well. I volunteer in a mentoring program, and do community service projects. I am also on the Alumni Association and Judiciary Council at my university. Being a member of the church also means I'm an active member in my community. I live my faith by being a good example to others as well as reading my scriptures and talks from the leaders of our church. I say prayers to Heavenly Father and try to make Him proud. I love doing Family History, specifically indexing. I am the Indexing Specialist and so I spend my time teaching others and helping make information available for the rest of the world.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

The best thing that you could ever do to know of our Father in Heaven is through prayer. Anyone can pray to Him at any time, no matter who you are. Another way to come to know Him is through reading the Book of Mormon. It's a testimony (like the Bible) of Jesus Christ, and it teaches us some of the things that Heavenly Father wants us to know. As you read it, the Holy Ghost will help you to know that it is true. Show more Show less
