Hi I'm Marty

I am a Medical Student and am in the Army. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I used to work on my car a lot. It often would break down. That was a fun hobby for me. Now I am away from home and I study a lot. I attend School in Missouri. I also enjoy soccer, and music (playing and listening).

Why I am a Mormon

To me being a Mormon is having a new heart. It seems that hardness and anger is ever more common in our world today. Also, in the world it seems people are respected based on their ability to make others feel inferior or "tell off" someone. I don't think that is how things ought to be and I don't think that is how things always will be. I know there are many that agree with me. I rely on my church and the ordinances and teachings to help me. They make my heart softer in a world that is hard, and where disappointments and set backs are common. I find that the only way to become soft, at peace and to give up my anger is to learn of Christ and participate in the ordinances of the church. I bear my witness that they are effective. I know they have helped me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working hard, trying to be positive and happy.
