Hi I'm Bryan

I'm a California native. I work in hi-tech manufacturing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have four young kids. Most of our attention is directed at taking care of their needs. When I have free time I love to go jogging or read a good book.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember praying and asking Heavenly Father to help me know that the gospel was true and that this was the church of Jesus Christ. I never received a dramatic witness like seeing an angel or hearing a voice. Instead, the answer has come gradually through quiet feelings that God has communicated to my heart. I simply feel good when I go to church and serve others. The Book of Mormon teaches, “For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will give more…” (2 Nephi 28:30, page 109). I’m humbled that through His mercy, Heavenly Father has heard and answered my prayers. I know that this is the church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I love a good service project like helping someone move or helping clean the church. I feel like I'm doing the best service though, when I get to share my feelings about Jesus Christ with others.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Bryan
The Book of Mormon was translated from ancient records by a modern prophet named Joseph Smith. It recounts the history of a group of people who were led out of Jerusalem to the American continent. Along with the Bible, it has helped me learn important truths, that God lives and loves us. One day we will return to Him to account for the choices that we made in this life. Since each of us makes mistakes, God sent his son Jesus Christ to be our Savior. Jesus willingly suffered for our sins and felt our sorrows. If we believe in Christ and follow his gospel, God promises to forgive our sins and give us peace. Show more Show less
