Hi I'm Shelia

I am from Meridian, Mississippi, US. I am the laboratory manager for a group of oncology doctors.

About Me

I am a mother of five children, three sons and two daughters, and nine grandchildren. I work full time and in my spare time i love to read, garden and spend time with my grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel brings such peace and structure to my life. Without my faith in my Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ life just would not have much meaning to me. When we are faced with trials in our lives, He is always there to help us through, He is also there to celebrate and share our happy times as well. My family is my GREATEST joy and the church puts such great emphasis on the importance of the family and how we can help our families be better and do better for all mankind. I know that this is the true chuch. I thank my Father everyday for the privilege of being a member. I know my Savior, Jesus Christ lives and atoned for my sins. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that we have a living prophet on the earth today to guide and direct us. President Thomas S Monson is the prophet for the world today and what great blessings would come to us today if the whole world would listen and heed his counsel.

How I live my faith

I strive to live everyday as I think my Heavely Father would have me live. I pray often for the guidance to do His will. I teach the women one Sunday a month from talks given twice a year at General Conference. These talks are published for us to use for lessons and for personal study.
