Hi I'm Joe

I grew up as a Lutheran but now I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dentist living in the Atlanta area. I have been married for 30 years and have five children and a grandson.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored back to the earth just as was promised in Acts 3:21 (until the times of restitution of all things). I have prayed to our Father in Heaven to know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith was his prophet to restore the Church and kingdom once again to the earth. It's that simple - ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you, seek and ye shall find. I know the Lord will hear and answer your prayers.

How I live my faith

Throughout the 33 years I have been a Mormon most of my service in the Church has involved the youth and particularly the young men (12 - 18 year olds). This service has included being a Scoutmaster, Sunday School teacher, Bishop and early morning seminary teacher. Yes, our youth attend a religious oriented class for an hour each school morning before they ever step a foot in their schools. Serving with the youth is one of the greatest blessings this church has to offer. Our youth are very well behaved, energetic, kind, caring, friendly, responsible, cooperative, and fun loving young men and women who are enjoyable to be around. To be in their presence is a refreshing experience.
