Hi I'm Dwayne

I'm a real person who has been very blessed because I'm a Mormon and I recommend it!

About Me

A husband, dad, military member, and dentist. I love life! I love adventure and exploring the world around me. I have found there are so many good people in this world. I love to be around people who are compassionate and mindful of the needs of others. I enjoy the adventure of raising a family and watching my children experience the world around them. I enjoy the relationship with my wife and cherish the memories we've made together. It is amazing how facing a few storms together can cement your love for each other. I believe in God and that means everything to me. I serve in the military and spent my first year of marriage in Afghanistan. I love my country and can't believe I was lucky enough to be born here. Speaking of free, I love the outdoors and being surrounded by God's creations. I love having a body and having the health and strength to participate in physical activities. Being a Mormon has made me HAPPY!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church. I was born into a loving family and was strongly influenced by my community and fellow church members. My devotion/conversion to the church began when I was a young teenager and had questions about my eternal salvation. At this time in my life the Gulf War had begun and I feared what the future held in store for me. To that point in my life I had never invetigated my own church or beliefs. I began by turning to my scriptures. I discovered the following scripture which gave me the guidance and direction I needed. In Alma chapter 37 verse 37 of the Book of Mormon it reads, "Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day." This scripture encouraged me to begin praying. I started by praying every night and then praying every morning. Something amazing happened to me after I started to pray, I found an inner peace and joy that I had never known before. I found confidence in what direction to take my life and many times was blessed with incredible inspiration that benefited not only myself but those around me. From that time on I've been strongly devoted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and my faith in the church has grown stronger.

How I live my faith

I strive to be a good husband and father. I try to help serve in my church and community. I try to treat others as Jesus would treat them.
