Hi I'm Tyler Knight

I was born in Bountiful, Utah. I'm a vocal performance major. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sophomore in college studying music. My emphasis is vocal performance and I love learning and expanding my knowledge about music. I have been singing since I was little, and have had the opportunity to participate in in various operatic roles throughout my life. I love playing the piano as well and I am starting to write my own music. It's a lot of work, but fun at the same time. I also love sports. I am a huge football and basketball fan and enjoy watching and attending the various games.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church, so I am familiar with it's teachings and principles. My life has been greatly blessed because of the gospel-I have grown so much and have learned valuable life lessons as I studied and gained a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I can testify with a surety that I know Heavenly Father lives, and loves each and every one of us, His children. I know He is aware of me and is mindful of my needs. I know I can turn to Him in prayer and ask for help. I know that Jesus Christ is His Only Begotten Son, and through Him, we are able to be forgiven of our sins and become clean. I testify that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real and did in fact happen. His atonement makes it possible for all of us to repent and forsake our sins, and eventually return to our Heavenly Father. It also makes it possible for us to be resurrected after we die. I know that the scriptures we have are vital to our spiritual growth-The Book of Mormon, along with the Bible, teach us sacred principles and doctrine. I know that this church was restored through a prophet-Joseph Smith, and the gospel continues to grow today. I testify that we have a modern day prophet-President Thomas S. Monson. I know he is a prophet of God. I also testify I know the men who assist him-the quorum of the twelve apostles- are men of God as well and are lead by inspiration.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to those around me. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been a blessing in so many ways-my faith in the Savior and my Heavenly Father has grown immensely and I find comfort in the fact that as I act in faith, the Savior will help me along the way.
