Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Where to start? I have been so very blessed to grow up being a "mormon" or as I like to view it, having the gospel a part of my life. Because of I this I have always strived to be a better person, not that I always accomplished that, but I did my best. To keep myself active in doing something worth while as a teenager I played soccer. It, at that time, was the love of my life. There were also many activities I enjoyed with my family such as snow skiing, hiking, camping, volleyball, wiffle ball, puzzles, and so much more. My Mom, Dad, and siblings are my best friends and always will be! I am now a proud mother of 4 beautiful children who are my best friends as well. We try to do many activities together just as my family did growing up. I have an amazing husband whom supports me in all that I do and stands beside me no matter what. So in a nut shell I love the outdoors, sports, reading, crocheting, scrapbooking, baking, spending time with my family, and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy and the happiness I feel when I learn and live the teaching of Christ. I know that this is his true church here upon the earth!!

How I live my faith

I am blessed the the wonderful opportunity to work with the children who come to church each week. I enjoy the time I get to share this work with many other church members. We all work together to teach the children about Jesus Christ, to try to help them know they are a Child of God and he loves them dearly.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Melissa
Mormons, or as I prefer LDS, live a lifestyle free of anything harful to our bodies. We avoid things that are addictive so that we can always be in control of who we are and what we want to become. We seek out activities that are uplifting and helpful to becoming a better person. We enjoy spending time with family. We strive to lift one anothers spirits through service, and visiting one another. Show more Show less
