Hi I'm Takashi

I grew up in the southern part of Japan, Fukuoka-City. I am a Mormon since 2002.

About Me

I am Takashi from Fukuoka-City, Japan. I am currently an undergraduate study in the US. I have been a member of Mormon Church since 2002 which I was a high school student. I served mission in Tokyo, Japan. I got married with my wife in 2009. We have one daughter. I love my family!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I met the missionaries on street in Fukuoka-City, Japan in December, 2001. I was not interested in any religion at this point though; I could tell that the missionaries were good people. I enjoyed talking and being with them. I gradually desired to become like them, and I knew the Church was the key to make people good. I started to seek the knowledge of the gospel both in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I talked to the religion teacher who was in the high school I went to because the high school was established by the Baptist Church. While I was seeking the knowledge and the answer of knowing what I should do, I have felt strongly that I should join the Mormon Church and keep being disciplined by the gospel. And, the gospel has been making my life good and meaningful!!

How I live my faith

I am trying to become a good father, husband, neighbor, and a member of the Church. I visit some members of the Church to study the Gospel together and take care of each other.
