Hi I'm Ben Cundick

I'm a nerdy guy who love anime and video games. I'm a wannabe fantasy writer, and I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm kind of a nerdy guy. I love anime and video games, and I also love reading fantasy and sci-fi. In fact, I've been working on a fantasy novel that I hope to someday publish. Right now, though, I've set all that aside to serve a mission in Florida. I also have Asperger's Syndrome, a mild form of Autism, which makes talking to people a bit difficult, so this mission is a challenge, but I'm still so glad to have this chance, and I wouldn't give it up for anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but it wasn't for a while that I actually had a relationship with God. I lived a good life, but I wasn't going above and beyond what I was expected. But after a particularly difficult time in my life, I turned to Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost for comfort. Since then, I have been blessed by them. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior. The Holy Ghost has testified this to me, and I see all of his wonderful miracles in the world around me. I am doing my best to live my life the right way so I can return to my Heavenly Father one day.

How I live my faith

Right now, I've left home to dedicate two years of my life to serve the Lord. This is likely the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I couldn't be happier because I know that I'm doing what my Heavenly Father asked me to do.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

Ben Cundick
One of the most important things to avoid the influence of pornography is to educate children about it early, before they find it themselves. Children that know that it's wrong are far more likely to stay away from it. It is also important to have a good, secure internet filter to prevent them from coming upon it by accident. What do Mormons believe about family?

Ben Cundick
To Mormons, family is much more than a name for a group of people who are related. It's one of the biggest ways Heavenly Father blesses us. Family brings us happiness and joy, and helps us to live righteous lives and support each other. It's for this reason that Heavenly Father has provided a way for us to be with our families forever. We are sealed to our family in the temple so that we can feel that same happiness and joy for all eternity. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Ben Cundick
We believe that God is the Father of all mankind, and that He loves us dearly as His children. God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and perfect. We are created in His image, although He has a body that is perfect, immortal, and glorified. God is just and fair, but He is also loving and merciful. He wants us to be able to return to live with Him one day, which is why He asks us to do the things that He does. Everything that He does is part of His plan for us. I love my Father in Heaven personally, and I know that He loves me. I pray every day so that I can talk to Him, and I do my best to follow His commandments because I know they are there for our good. I know that although I'm imperfect, by following His plan I can live with Him again when this life is over. Show more Show less
