Hi I'm Devin

I am a father, husband, and Police Officer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in PA, and am currently living with my lovely wife and son in the suburbs of Baltimore. I served in the US Army reserves for 6 years and became a Police Officer in 2006. I also go to school part time. I find a great deal of pleasure serving others and I believe its my life mission. I like watching movies, reading, and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because it brings happiness and light into my life. It is deeper and answers many of lifes questions that went unanswered in other churches I attended. Being a convert I know what life is like outside the church and am completely confident that my life has more meaning, my relationships more joy and my faith is so much deeper then it once was. I find happiness and joy in knowing my Heavenly Father and knowing he knows me. The one thing that I know now then I did not know before I joined this church was that families can be together forever. Being a father and a husband, I can not imagine living through the eternities without being with my family. I am so thankful for the church, for the prophets who teach us and the family that he has entrusted in me to lead.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good example for my son and those around me. I try to live a Christ like life both at home, church and at work.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Devin
Families are important because they are the unit in which you spend the rest of eternity with. Family is huge reason why we are here on earth. Our Father in heaven loves us so much and wanted us to share in the feelings he has for us and what better way then to allow us to have a family of our own. Show more Show less
