Hi I'm Arden

I'm a Mormon. Born in America but traveled and lived in other places. I love the Lord and try to live His gospel.

About Me

I joined the Church 26 years ago after gaining a testimony that the Book of Mormon is scripture. I continued to raise my family applying the principles of the gospel. We had a great time gardening, skiing and learning together. I always kept up my piano playing and now play in church sometimes. I also like to kayak and write short pieces. I currently live on a boat and have done traveling and missionary work from that base.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I wanted to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. This Church has His restored gospel and all the ordinances and authority necessary to progress spiritually. The Church is a wonderful organization that accomplishes much good in the name of the Savior and I am happy to lend my energies to that redemptive work.

How I live my faith

I have recently served several missions for the Church in the Dominican Republic and the Virgin Islands. I did humanitarian work and then worked to preserve old church records digitally. This was a great opportunity to meet Mormons from different countries and help those in need of whatever persuasion.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Mormons believe that after we die our immortal spirits leave the body and continue living in another sphere. We believe we will be able to associate with our families and other loved ones in the future. Show more Show less

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

I am happy to be a Mormon woman. I have many close and wonderful female and male friends in the Church. I have never felt put down, marginalized or discriminated against because of my sex since being in the Church. We love one another and treat each other with respect and kindness. Mormon women are given many responsibilities to teach, lead and minister to others, just like the men. Show more Show less
