Hi I'm Courtney

I work in Nevada in the middle of Gold Country and am a father of 5. My family is everything and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and singing. I work at a CAT dealership. I have 5 kids and have been married to the same wonderful woman for 25 years. I studied in Wyoming but never knew what I was to do until I caught the IT bug. I have worked in IT now for over 20 years and love installing technology on big yellow machines. I am a High School Basketball and Volleyball Referee and love serving the community. When I was much younger I lived in the Panama Canal and loved the "Tom Sawyer" years there and in southern Utah. Moving back to Wyoming as I grew I was blessed to see and camp in the wonders of Wyoming and am glad I am from the least populated state.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the "Mormon" faith and was lucky enough to serve and LDS mission to Mexico. I love the Latin people. Even though I was raised a member of the church I still had to come to the knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel. I studied and prayed and know for myself of its truth.

How I live my faith

I am currently working in the Stake and love serving different wards and branches within Northern Nevada. I have the great responsibility in working with the youth and have been asked to be the "Trail Boss' on our next youth trek in Wyoming. I love history and the lessons we learn from our ancestors and their sacrifices. I believe the best we can do for our community is to live lives of integrity and teach the same to our children.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Courtney
We are all saved through His Grace. I love the statement," Yes I have been saved by His Grace but have I been CHANGED by his grace." It isn't enough to just be saved we owe Him more than that. Show more Show less
