Hi I'm Scott.

I grew up in the mountains of northern Utah and now live in the desert of Arizona and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My relocation to the desert was supposed to be a short 1 or 2 year stay and then on to explore other parts of the counry. As fate and the will of the Lord has it, I'm still here 34 years later and loving it. My four children have been the focus of my life and we have delveloped many memories along the way. They are pretty much grown now and are finding their way. I've had a great opportunity to give to the community through the education business and have built several schools in so doing. In my off days, I'll get out on the open road heading towards another adventure. Whether it's a trip to Mexico or to the mountains of Utah or to the rivers and lakes in between, I'll be hiking, biking, skiing, fishing and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was able to develop my testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I gave top priority to teaching Gospel principles in my home and to my children. Knowing God provides the way for me gives me comfort and peace. Living by His principles I know He will always be with me. Living by His standards has brought peace and happiness in my life. I am a Mormon because of the Plan of Salvation. Knowing what happens to me after this life is why I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If I live the Gospel of Christ, I know I will return to His presence and I can have my family there with me. If it wasn't for that simple truth, there would be no reason for religion to exist. God provides the way to eternal life. I choose to live my life here in such a way that my chances are pretty good I will return to Him who created me. I hope and pray that my family will someday choose the same path so we can all be together throughout eternity.

How I live my faith

I honor my Father in Heaven in my daily activities. Keeping the Sabbath Day holy is a commandment that is most important to me. By trusting in God and putting my life in His hands, I know that the trials and problems I have will be much easier to handle. I make it a point to let God know how thankful I am that He has given me the path I am on today. I love the people I associate with at church. I love my children, I love hearing the testimonies of our Prophet and church leaders and I love all the creations God had made for me on this Earth.
