Hi I'm Wendy

I photograph people and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, and portrait photographer. I like to garden, but I hate yard work. I love to eat, but I'm not too big on cooking. I like to watch movies, but I get bored easily, so I end up doing two or three other things while I watch.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the church, but I had to really decide whether I really believed or not. When I was 21, I was called to serve a mission for the church, and as preparation to teach people about the gospel, I did a lot of studying and praying to strengthen my testimony. In the end, I knew that the church was the true church of Jesus Christ, and I knew I wanted to share that knowledge with others.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints isn't just a Sunday thing. I live my faith everyday -- from prayers and scripture study to church service and our code of health. I try to live so others that know me will have a favorable opinion of our church and want to know more about it.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Wendy
I love my family so much that it would be a tragedy for me if I couldn't be with them forever after this life. My husband and I were sealed in a special ceremony in the temple for time and all eternity. That means that if we keep the promises we made in the temple, we can be together as husband and wife even after we die. What blessing! Show more Show less
