Hi I'm Charlene

I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to hike, bike, and jog. I enjoy camping and water sports. I love to be outdoors enjoying God's beautiful creation.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have a firm and strong testimony that it is God's restored church on the Earth today. The spirit has borne an undeniable witness to me that this is true. As a mormon, I can answer without hesitation the queries Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? I know. You can know too!

How I live my faith

I live the gospel of Jesus Christ by having faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Redeemer, repenting of my sins, and having been baptized by immersion, by sacred priesthood power, and I have received the gift of the Holy Ghost, the baptism by fire. I strive to live as Heavenly Father and Jesus would have me live. Sometimes, I fall short of that goal, but I can humbly repent, and because of the Atoning Sacrifice of Jesus Christ I can be forgiven. I instill this knowlege in the youth. I serve as a teacher and a leader of children. We learn about Heavenly Father and Jesus and their love for each of us.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

The scriptures “truly testify of Christ. Behold, I say unto you that none of the prophets have written, nor prophesied, save they have spoken concerning this Christ” (Jacob 7:11). To those who put forth the effort to read the scriptures will benefit by gaining a firm faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Show more Show less
