Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a pharmacist, a wife and a mother. I live in Lancashire, UK. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 31 and have been married for seven years. I'm a mum to 3 children and I also work part-time as a pharmacist. I enjoy playing with my kids, baking and crafts.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born to parents that had had chosen to join the church in their youth. I still had to find out for myself if the gospel was true. When I was a teenager and several times later I have prayed sincerely to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church, if the Book of Mormon is true, if we are led by a prophet... Each time I have felt the sweet peace of the spirit telling my heart of the truth of the gospel. My testimony is the reason that I am a Mormon. I feel my life is so blessed by having the gospel in my life. It brings me joy, hope and peace and an eternal perspective. I know that there is more than just this life on earth.

How I live my faith

Each Monday evening we have a family home evening, where we gather together as a family and sing together, read scriptures together and teach the children about Jesus and the scriptures. Every day we pray and read scriptures together as a family and I try to wake up before my little ones to enjoy some peaceful time to study the scriptures myself. Sundays we attend church and take the sacrament and learn from talks and lessons from the other members of the congregation. I currently serve as the Relief Society President - the women's organisation of the church. This gives me great opportunities to work with women of all ages and backgrounds to help us all reach our full potential and draw closer to our Saviour and our Father in Heaven.
