Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a software engineer at Microsoft who lives in Kirkland, WA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of two children whom I love dearly, as well as my lovely and loving wife who stays at home to raise our children. I consider myself a scientist as well as an engineer, having majored in Information Technology and minored in math and physics in college and graduated with honors. Theoretical physics is awesome and I love reading about it and learning the math as a pastime (which is rare lately).

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony that this is Jesus Christ's endorsed Church, which is firm by the Holy Ghost and personal experiences. My scientific background also leads me to believe that there is a God and that He would be a wise, loving and caring God who would lead His children. I see my faith and scientific understanding as complementing each other rather than detracting from each other. God is a God of both physical and spiritual law.

How I live my faith

I serve as an executive secretary in my ward's bishopric. It is a privilege to observe and participate in the supervision of the Lord's flock in this area, even in my secretarial role.
