Hi I'm Camille

I'm a mama. I'm married to an awesome guy. I love music and art. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Camille. I am 23, married to an awesome guy, and I have sweet little son. I love to invent new recipes, take pictures, paint, and basically any creative thing under the sun, I would likely enjoy. I love spending time with my family and that probably brings about the most joy for me. By nature, I am a quiet person and quite introverted, but I'm very gradually inching towards more outgoing and adventurous the older I get. Looking back on my life, I notice a change in myself. Things that were once challenging and burdensome are becoming easier. I thank God for that. He strengthens me. I love this church and the peace and direction that it brings me in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church provides me a beacon of light and hope. I know I feel the Holy Spirit testify to me of the reality of the Book of Mormon and of modern-day prophets. The Spirit testifies to me that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His son, Jesus Christ. Because of those truths, I know that God cares about people today, not just in olden days. I know God is always there and he is always with me if I allow Him to be. I know He cares about me as an individual and recognizes my strengths and abilities. He also recognizes my weaknesses. I know His son has carried every burden I am ever called to bear by being the perfect sacrifice for us all. I know God loves all of His children, even if they don't love Him or choose to ignore His existence. This church gives everyone a chance to repent and return to Him no matter who they are or what their background may be. It's never too late. Because God loves His children, hope is there for anyone who wants it. He is our loving Father and will welcome us back with open arms. This church teaches me that. It provides the hope that my soul longs for and is forever grateful for.

How I live my faith

I go to church each Sunday and try to bring home some new insight each time to better myself. I try to serve others when I can. I try to lift people up, members of the church or not, through social media and any other avenues that I am able.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is usually a set of beliefs that comes from personal revelation- meaning the Holy Ghost has testified to an individual the truth of something. Show more Show less
