Hi I'm Paul

I'm 21, I love death metal, I'm a Californian, I'm a missionary, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 20, big, and bald. A big part in my life is death metal. One of the best things in this world. A tender mercy from the Lord. Is started out with Groove Metal and Metalcore and worked my way up to the awesomeness of Death metal. Some awesome bands are Amon Amarth, Suffokate, Misery Index, The Red Chord, Aeveron, Fear of Domination, Tellus Destruction Project, and so many more. Great bands. I spent most of my time working, but I love coming home and relaxing with my iPod. Nothing better. I was born and raised in Sacramento California and was there for 20 years. Always lived in the same house, and love it. From there I came to Idaho to be a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I chose to do that because I read the Book of Mormon, prayed about it, and know that this is God's church. I couldn't keep all that to myself. I've had some crazy times, but it's all been a major blessing in my life. I can't imagine my life without the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I'm loving every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 18, I wanted to know more about what the whole meaning of life is and if God even existed. I saw my boss reading the book of Mormon all the time. We'd always discuss religion and what God continues to do today. So I decided to read the Book of Mormon. After I had finished it, I prayed about it. I prayed to know whether the people in it existed, if what they said happened actually happened, if Joseph Smith really was a prophet of God, etc. I wanted to know all I could. God has shown me that the Book of Mormon is truly God's word. I don't have any doubt about anything in it. It is true. So after all that, I decided to go on a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Nothing in my life has been harder yet more fun than this.

How I live my faith

Constant prayer. Always pondering. There's always room to improve in the gospel. Once I learn a certain principle, I find that I can always go more and more in depth. I find so much happiness helping others come to the knowledge that I have received.
