Hi I'm Bruce

I'm neither rich nor famous but I think life is wonderful with so much to learn, experience and appreciate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father of five married children, and grandfather of eighteen grandchildren. I have a spirit of adventure that has led me to many great experiences from firefighting to travelling to enjoying the simple things of life. I live day by day yet look forward to many great things in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though there are several generations of Mormons in my family, I had the freedom to choose for myself whether to follow this path or not. Following the teachings and practices of the LDS Church has brought peace to me in troubled times, comfort in times of distress, and offers hope of a bright future. All this and more made possible because of God's love for us, his children.

How I live my faith

One important teaching of Jesus Christ is that we be of service to others. I've had many opportunities to render service in the community in which I live and in the church I attend as well as to individuals. Offering service when needed has been most rewarding and fulfilling. Some of the things I have done in the community include soccer coach, volunteer firefighter/EMT, participation in a local theatre, Boy Scout leader, and involvement in the local political process. In my church I have worked with youth groups, taught adult sunday school, and served in positions of leadership. Serving others is a sure test of a true follower of Jesus Christ. I hope I am passing the test.
