Hi I'm Kevin

I am a husband, father of 5 boys, a family physician and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father of 5 boys, serve as a bishop and work full-time as a family physician in Idaho, teaching in a Family Medicine Residency. I enjoy spending time with my family, music, baking, and cycling.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who taught me the Gospel and brought me up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I served a mission in Germany, sharing the Gospel, where my testimony grew tremendously. Through many experiences reading and studying the scriptures, by praying about the teachings of Jesus Christ, I have felt the sweet confirmation from the Holy Ghost testifying of the truthfulness of the teachings of Jesus Christ, of his Atonement for us and of the Plan of Happiness that our Heavenly Father has for us. This is a message of comfort and guidance for me as I make decisions and live my life. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth today; and because the Lord loves us, we have a living Prophet on the earth today, who receives revelation from the Lord for us today. Because the Priesthood authority has been restored to the earth, we have been blessed with temples, where we can worship, make and keep sacred covenants and connect our families for eternity. I want to live with my family for eternity and am working as hard as I can to be worthy of that.

How I live my faith

I try to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. I serve the Lord through fulling my calling as a Bishop. I counsel and teach the members of our ward (congregation). I am responsible for the temporal and spiritual welfare of those that live within the boundaries of our ward. It has strengthened my faith to see how the Spirit of the Lord works in my life and in the lives of others who I counsel with. I read and study the scriptures. I pray to a loving Heavenly Father. I attend my church meetings weekly. I attend the temple regularly.
