Hi I'm Kelli

I'm a Mormon and a Mom of 3.

About Me

I am a stay at home mother with 3 children. I am busy managing a home, running kids all over town, volunteering at the school, and I am a family history nut.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are converts to the church. They raised me in the gospel from the time I was born. I was baptized at the age of eight, although I really gained a testimony of the church at the age of 12. I visited other churches, and I really wanted to know if my church was true. I remember kneeling down in my room, and praying to know if the gospel was true. I remember a sudden warm feeling overtaking me. Tears came to my eyes, I knew then that Heavenly Father heard my prayer and knew who I was. I having lived the gospel to the best of my ability since that time. There have been times in my life when the Lord has blessed me so personally that there was no doubt in my mind that he was real, and knew my name.

How I live my faith

I am a Family History Consultant in my ward. I help members to research their genealogy, or history of their family. I teach classes on how and why to research our families. I know the knowledge that I gain about my family will help me to know who I am.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Kelli
Mormon Temples are used to make eternal families. Worthy members perform sacred ceremonies that use the priesthood to unite families for eternity. This work is done for the living and, by proxy, for the dead. Being part of an eternal family is part of Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness for His children. I am thankful to be part of an eternal family. Knowing my husband and children will be with me through the eternities gives me great comfort and peace. Show more Show less
