Hi I'm Pauli

I was born in a small town in WA but now live if CA. I'm a wife and a mom of 5 beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the only member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saintsin my family. I lost my older brother to a car accident when I was 15 I lost my mom to health problems 10 days before I turned 20 (she was only 45) I joined the church when I was 21 and then got married to the man that introduced the church to me 6 months later. I have 5 beautiful children. Things didn't start falling into place for me in my life until I found the church. The church and the gospel is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 21 and it was because at that time in my life I had just lost my mom and I was searching for answers. When I started talking to the missionaries they talked to me about the Plan of Salvation, and after praying to my Heavenly Father I felt that what they were telling me was true and brought me great comfort in knowing that I would again be reunited with my loved ones that had gone on before me.

How I live my faith

I am a very active member of my church. I help to organize activities for the women. We often do things like work on new skills or improving ones that we already have. We also like to do charitable things for our communities such as clothing swaps for those who might need new clothes and can not afford to buy them new or visit the sick and/or elderly. I also visit women from church once a month and teach them a lesson based on our values or to just make sure that there is nothing that they might be in need of, (since I don't have any sibling of my own I think of this as checking in on my sisters and making sure that everything is right in their lives and offer my help whenever I can.)

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. I can speak about my own personal experiences and tell you that since I have joined the church I have found much joy in doing charity not only for other members of our church but also for those not of our faith and beliefs. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men. Show more Show less
