Hi I'm Dansell

I'm a Software Engineer, a musician, a stay-at-home mom, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of a wonderful husband and the mother of a beautiful daughter. I currently split my time between being a Software Engineer and a stay-at-home mom. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. I love to play piano and sing.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the most important beliefs I have as a Mormon is eternal families. Not only can our marriages and families last for our lives on earth, but they can also exist in the next life after we die. This is such a comfort to me because I love my family very much. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want us to be happy. We have hard times to help us grow. As a parent, I am starting to have a better appreciation for my Father in Heaven. He does not give us commandments to restrict us and make our lives miserable. He gives us commandments so we can be happy. I give my daughter rules so she will be happy and safe, not to keep her from fun.

How I live my faith

I get to help with the music in the children's Sunday classes. It is such a special experience listening to the children sing about Jesus and His love for them. I also attend monthly weekday meetings with the women in my congregation where we socialize, serve, and expand our knowledge in spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical aspects of our lives. I am teaching my daughter the importance of God's word, prayer, and attending church meetings. I want her to know how much her parents love her, but I especially want her to know how much Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love her. I believe that when we feel Their love, we trust in Them and want to live how They've taught us to live.
