Hi I'm AL

I grew up Baptist and recently converted to the Mormon faith.

About Me

My three grandchildren are everything to me. Most of my hobbies seem to be less important and even less fun compared to the fun I share with these guys.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Baptist and were very good, hardworking people, with very strong family values. I feel they raised me the best they could with the knowledge they had. My walk with Christ these last few years has been an awakening one in a sense. I was completely happy as a Baptist, I thought. The missionaries were coming by my home and speaking with me, and after many weekly visits, I agreed to read in the Book of Mormon with an open mind. Don't think for a minute I was an easy convert. I had many questions and issues. But there was also something going on that I had absolutely no control over. I didn't understand it, but I did. I knew it was the Holy Spirit. As I read more in the Book of Mormon, the Spirit prompted me to do my own investigating and I ended up in the Book of Morini. I thought, this book is magical! I could not quit reading it that day. I read the whole Book of Moroni. there were tears, smiles and personal revalation that has changed my life in such a great way. I would urge anyone who has questions about their life, their faith, their God, please, order a free Book of Mormon and read and investigate on your own. Ask God to reveal the truth to you. It could change your life. I testify to you that I know the Book of Mormon is true. That Jesus Christ lives and this is His Church. In the name of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have now been a member of Christ's Church for one year. I strengthen my faith through daily scripture reading, lots of prayer, fellowshiping with Church members and I always keep a copy of the Book of Mormon within reach.
