Hi I'm Doug Freeman

I'm a Mormon. I am trying to choose the right.

About Me

My world revolves around my family! I am a husband to my wonderful wife and father to our four wonderful kids! We have so much fun as a family together. We love to Travel to History sites and tour places of historical importance. We are Road Trippers! We have family all over the country and we love to load up and head out for adventure. I am a small business owner and have the usual challenges that go along with being the "chief cook and bottle washer." I love College basketball and especially the college NCAA tournament that happens every spring!

Why I am a Mormon

I am the product of a family of converts from the early part of the 20th century both my mother and father are strong members of the church as well as all of my siblings. So essentially I grew up "in the church" I felt like I was being given a gift of Faith as a child. It all made sense to me. For as long as I can remember we have always attended our local ward wherever we lived. I was taught basic christian principles and shown the difference between right and wrong choices. I was baptized when I was 8 and as I worked through my teenage years it became evident to me that most of the people that I associated with were looking for what I had already received. The Gospel of Jesus Christ as I and many others refer to it has all the elements of a life plan that can guide my decisions in life. It has and continues to be a tremendous blessing in my life! It gives me and my family a platform of solid values to build on.

How I live my faith

I am active in scouting and have been assistant scout master and a youth leader for many years organizing all kinds of activities for youth and their friends. I presently am the Bishop of the local Ward in which i live. It gives me the opportunity to serve others in a unique roll. I think it is important to promote the values of family whenever possible!

What do Mormons believe about family?

Doug Freeman
We believe that the family is an eternal unit. It provides the best opportunity for us to experience all of life's abundance and challenges with a built in support group. We can make this a reality through making and keeping covenants. Show more Show less
