Hi I'm Tanner

I grew up in Utah. I am a United States Marine and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to high school just like any kid growing up I’ve worked construction with my Dad since I’ve been about 8. I am a United Sates Marine I’ve been in for little over a year. I played lacrosse all through high school. I am serving a 2 year mission for the church and the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and just went through the motions. I just relied on my parents’ testimony and faith, until I wanted to know for myself if the things that the church was saying and doing were true. So I read the book of Mormon and prayed about it and the holy ghost or holy spirit gave me the most peaceful feeling and from that point on I, myself knew that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the only true church on the face of the earth and that the book of Mormon was the word of God and that Joseph Smith saw God and his son Jesus Christ. I know it’s True there’s no doubt in my mind.

How I live my faith

Is by reading the scriptures everyday and praying in the morning, night, and all throughout the day. I am on a full time mission at the moment for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and for the Lord. I go to church every week and take the bread and water to remember the promise I made with the Lord when I was baptized. I honor my father and mother by doing what they invite me to do. I listen and obey the words of the living Prophet Thomas S Monson.

What is faith?

Faith in thinks that you hope for but you can’t see with your eyes. You have to have faith to ask God about things you want to know. Faith is an action word. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

My family is how I gain strength to continue to do what’s right. We all work off each other’s love and charity. We teach each other by example. Show more Show less
