Hi I'm Liz

Hi! I'm a wife and mother who enjoys being creative in my spare time and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have 2 kids, one is a teenager! My husband works full time and goes to school part time. He's pretty busy. My hobbies include sewing, knitting, crafting, karate and whatever my kids are doing at that time. I also love to learn new skills. I'm currently learning to play the violin!

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because it brings me joy. I grew up in the LDS faith and took it for granted most of my life. Once I became and adult, married and had children I discovered my own testimony and love of the gospel. There are so many blessings that come when we follow Jesus Christ and strive to live the commandments He has set for us. Those blessings have brought me comfort and joy when I needed it most. One of my favorite blessings is being an eternal family. What an amazing blessing it is to be able to grow together as a family here on earth and then continue that relationship together in the next life. The promise of that blessing brings me great joy.

How I live my faith

My faith guides the decisions I make everyday. It might be through babysitting for a friend, teaching a class at church or volunteering in my child's class at school. I always try to serve those around me and set a good example by working hard.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Liz
The best way to get to know someone is to talk to them! So talk to your Father in Heaven. Talk to him through daily prayer. He loves you and loves to hear from you. Don't forget to listen. Heavenly Father will answer your questions and give you guidance and reassurance when you ask, make sure you take time to listen for his answer. You can also learn about Him by studying the scriptures. As we read the scriptures we learn how He has help others which will give us clues to His nature. Also, the more we obey our Heavenly Father the closer we will grow to love Him and understand Him. Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Liz
Yes! You can be with your spouse, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins forever. That is the most exciting principle of the gosple to me. My love for my spouse grows stronger every day and I couldn't imagine losing him when our time on earth ends. I can't wait to see what the eternities have in store for us! Show more Show less
