Hi I'm Christi

I'm a Mormon in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

About Me

I am a wife and mother of two and a half. Me and my husband were both single parents when we met. My husband was divorced and I had never been married. Our kids are 6, 4, and 4 months cooking, while me and my husband are trying to finish our degrees. When we can find time together we love to go bike riding and watch tons of movies. :)

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was 6 years old, after my grandmother sent countless missionaries to our house. I loved the church when I was a child. When I was a teenager the morals instilled in me from this church and my family helped me make a lot of decisions that many of my friends had a lot of trouble knowing how to make. It was during that time that I truly obtained a testimony of Jesus Christ, and I knew without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His church. I have fallen away and come back to the church sense that time. I never doubted, I simply stopped living it. The church continues to be more help to me than I am to it. Now I am married to a priesthood holder, and we have two children that we are raising in the church so that they can know what we know. So that we all can become the best version of us Heavenly Father would have us be.

How I live my faith

I have served in the primary of our church, teaching the children, and conducting singing time, I have also served as the chorister for our congregation, and am now helping in the women's organization called the Relief Society. I find being involved in these acts of service help me learn and find opportunity to teach others as well. I have participated in many service projects, such as making quilts, painting schools and other public buildings, trash clean up, and babysitting. The joy of serving is incredible, and I wish I did it more often.
