Hi I'm Brittnie

I'm from Las Vegas, one of 7 kids. Now I'm a wife and mother to 2 of my own. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a busy, wonderful man and have two children, a boy and a girl. I always worked full time and my children went to a day care, but after many tears and deing I decided we as a family were better off with me being home and making the necessary sacrafices to make it happen. I love spending time with my family without the constaints of a time clock. Especially when I feel at times my husband and I can be like passing ships in the night! I squeeze in my "me" time once the kids are in bed and go for a walk for a quick workout. My goal is to go back and finish up those last few classes to receive my degree, which got on hold once we had our first baby.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS religion and loved growing up in the church, having lots of friends and being taught strong moral values. It made me strong and happy but I became inactive just out of high school and stayed that was about 10yrs until I had my first baby. Having her, I knew I wanted to give her the same great experiences and values I was taught and knew I couldn't do it all on my own, I needed help. I had already lived life on my terms and was ready to life my life unselfishly, I knew that was the way for me to find what I was looking for.

How I live my faith

I love going to church on Sundays and so do my little children because they lov their teachers. I am so glad someone was willing to dedicate their time at church to teaching my chilren. I have taught the 3/4 yr old Sunday school class and currently am the Primary Presidency Secretary and visit teach a few ladies in the ward. I love serving others and seeing those bright and eager faces of those small children each week. It's amazing to see how everyone pitches in to bless and help one another.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

yes and yes! My parents were seal together in the temple and therefor, as their children we are seal to our parents and to our siblings. My brother and father both pasted away when I was young and I know that I will be them again one day and be together as a family. I am preparing to go to the temple now with my husband and children to be sealed together, I couldn't bare the thought of not being a family with them for eternity. I love them so much.
