Hi I'm Bob

I am a father of 5 boys and a grandfather and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Bob,I was raised in Idaho, I moved to Oregon to finish High School, met my wife here and have lived here every since, except a 3 year period of time my job took us to Nebraska. We have been married for 34 years. I am currently an unemployed electrician going back to school to study Computer Aided Drafting. we have 5 awesome sons who we are glad to say live relatively close.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon for a number of reasons, Life was some what hard growing up, lets just say that. I had an aunt & uncle who showed me by their example that life had so much more to offer than the road I was on, they were LDS. Many times as a child I prayed for a better life and was comforted by the spirit, as it turned out I recognized that spirit when I was a teen and introduced more actively into the Mormon church. It was important to me to provide a good foundation for my family, that at that time was merely a dream. As my desire increased to know for myself the truthfulness of this gospel, I have come to realize that the lord has given us the tools to be successful in life , and Family, and he has revealed it for us in these latter days.

How I live my faith

I have discovered, after many years of trial and error that being Mormon is a lifestyle, not just a Sunday event. My wife and I are so much happier when we are in with both feet. We try to live and see thing the way the Savior would. the Gospel is our life, its in our everyday conversations, its in our every day activities, its who we are and we are not ashamed of it.
