Hi I'm Marc

I'm a missionary, I'm a computer nerd, I love Snowboarding, I'm 6'7" (for real!), and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Idaho, but I grew up in the mountains of Arizona. (yes, there ARE mountains) I love to play sports! especially ultimate frisbee, hockey, and snowboarding! I would go everyday if I could. I'm also a gamer with a wide variety of favorites such as League of Legends, Guitar Hero expert, and Minecraft. I attended BYU Idaho for a few semesters before serving a mission and plan to return when I'm done. I have two older brothers, whom both served full time missions in South America, and a younger sister and parents whom I love more than words can say!

Why I am a Mormon

For many years I followed the example of my parents by going to church every Sunday and never really had my own testimony. Soon after high school I realized I really had no direction in life and when I was in a really low point in my life I turned to Christ. The blessings and feelings I had recieved at that time were undeniable. I began attending church regularly seeking answers for myself. I remember the day that I really sincerly prayed to know that the Book of Mormon is true and how incredible it was. From that day on I prayed to know what I should do with my life and recieved an answer that I was to serve a mission. I Love the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a 2 year full-time mission for the church in the Raleigh, North Carolina mission. I share the message of the Atonement of Jesus Christ by helping others understand Him and what He expects of us in this life.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon was written by many different ancient prophets of God that lived in the American continents. Beginning around 600 B.C., God commanded Lehi to lead his family and others from Jerusalem to the Americas. God called and commanded prophets within this civilization to keep a record of their dealings with Him. The writings were passed down from generation to generation and kept safe from destruction. Each prophet before the birth of Jesus Christ testified of his Atoning Sacrifice that will surely come to pass, and each prophet after the His birth testified of His divine mission: Jesus Christ being the Savior of the World. By reading from the Book of Mormon and sincerely praying about it, one can come to know by the power of the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Christ. Show more Show less
