Hi I'm Andrea

I'm a mother, a college graduate, a diabetic, and a piano teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love holidays, emailing friends, listening to music, reading a good book, being with my family, and playing board games. I keep a daily blog of things I do with my family. I have five children ages 8, 6, 3, 3, 5 months, and I stay home with them. We sing silly songs, do preschool, read books, and play together. Our family has moved ten times in ten years. I have enjoyed meeting new people and exploring new places with my husband and children.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah. My parents taught me truth and took me to church as a baby. As I grew up I gained a testimony for myself by attending church, praying and reading the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love music! I select the hymns that we sing for the congregational meeting each Sunday. Music is a great way to invite the Spirit to a meeting so people can feel good at church.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

The Temple is a sacred place where we make covenants with God and learn more about Him. A marriage performed there can last forever because of the special priesthood ceremonies done inside. Members of the Church can attend the temple when they are worthy and ready to participate in making special covenants. My husband and I enjoy attending the Temple monthly. When I am inside the temple I feel really happy. I know that I can live with God and my family again after I die. Show more Show less
