Hi I'm Sam

I'm from Mesa Arizona. I am husband and father. I am a French speaking drummer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sam and I have been a member of the LDS church my whole life and have been blessed beyond measure because of it. I am married to my beautiful wife Liesl and we have been blessed with a sweet little baby girl Averee who has brought us so much joy. I am currently going to college to work towards a degree and eventually go into optometry school. I have always enjoyed learning how things work in the world and am interested in technology and science to make the world a better place. I also enjoy music and think it can be an effective way to bring people together and closer to Christ. Most of all I love my family and enjoy spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel with strong parents who are faithful in the church. I grew a testimony of my own, of the truthfulness of this gospel, as I learned from their examples and their testimonies of this gospel. As I have gotten older I have seen more evidence of the blessings of being a member of this church (or a Mormon) and in turn is a greater testament to me of it's truthfulness. I have seen God's hand in my life and feel his presence in my life as I draw closer to him through living this gospel. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he makes it possible for me to not only be a better person each day but it is the single most important message for all mankind. It is what will allow us to return to God, our Heavenly Father. I know that you can know that this is true by asking our Heavenly Father by sincere prayer and by living His gospel.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in my church with many others to help our families and neighbors who are of our faith and those not of our faith. I have been called to assist a local church leader in our area ( He is a bishop of our ward). I am the executive secretary and help set up interviews for our bishop with people who need to meet with him. I am grateful for this calling as I get to meet with a lot of different people and help them schedule interviews with our bishop. I know that seems like a small task but I know our bishop is called of God at this time to help those in need. I am grateful for the opportunity to help people get the chance to meet with our bishop who will help them with their needs.
