Hi I'm Keith

I grew up in a small town. I have a plan for what I can accomplish in my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a big family, and small town. I'm a sophomore in college and it is great. Education is important to me. I enjoy just about anything! Sports and athletics are Sa-Weet! Reading is an adventure and music's a way I express myself. I'm a bit of a reserved guy despite loving people. Despite my reservation I like meeting new people and learning about them. Everyone has a story and experiences that I can learn, grow, and become a better person from by listening and following their righteous examples.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, but that's not why I am Mormon today. No one makes me go to this church, I chose this church for myself. I know that Jesus Christ organized his church on the earth while he was here ministering and administering to men over two thousand years ago. My parents taught me about Joseph Smith restoring the same church which the Savior organized and the doctrines that accompany Christ's true church. They did this teaching me from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Notwithstanding being taught, I can not say that I had truly and completely learned. I had to apply myself. I had to want to know the truth...that if what I had been taught was true. At sixteen I diligently sought to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the one true church through study, prayer, and faith unto obedience of the standards and commandments of God. I felt in my life an unseen daily assurance that what I was doing and how I was living was right and what God wanted of me. I felt the love of God numberous times, always knowing it was his approval of what I was choosing. Then one day after reading Joseph Smith's account of his first vision of God the Father and Jesus Christ, I knelt in prayer and asked my Heavenly Father to know if what Joseph Smith had said was true. God answered my prayer. The answer came to my mind and my heart, that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that Jesus Christ called Joseph Smith to restore His church upon the earth, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know the Book of Mormon is another testiment of Jesus Christ-his divine life and mission as the Savior and Redeemer of the world. I know that Christ guides his church today through his servant President Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

I try to learn from others every day, implementing the good things I see them do so I can become a better disciple of Jesus Christ. I serve in the church planning and carrying out extracurricular activities for the young single adults which are both spiritually edifying and simply fun. I also try to help others as I go about my busy schedule because I know that that's what Jesus would do and what he would have me do.
