Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member since 2001. I am married and a father of four wonderful children.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was dating my wife Esther. She told me that she was LDS a mormon. I thought that I had to get that poor lady out of that church. I started researching the church. I was going to change her by wittiness to her. The missioaries came to see me. I was full of doubt about The Book of Mormon. Than I read the last verse in the Gosphel of John. If every that Jesus did was written down. They would not be enough books in the world to hold it all. I came believer that night in my living room. All byself setting along praying and asking God for guidance. That verse in the Gosphel of John kept coming into my head.

How I live my faith

I live by faith on a day to day basics. I always listen to the Holy Spirit for guidances and teaching. We I started first reading the book of Mormon. I prayed about it being true and not anouther false teaching by man. The verse in last chapter of the Gosphel of John and the last verse in the chapter says. If every thing that Jesus did was written down. They would not be enough books in the world to hold them. That is my statement of in believing in the Book of Mormon.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

John
People often ask me do I still believe in Jesus. I tell them yes I do. People often quote to me the last verse of Revalations to me. I ask them how many books in the Bible. I believe people in general listen to others opinion on the church. Instead of investigated it for themselves. I don't know the church that other people talk about in the media. I am glad that I found out for myself. The lesson to be learned is not to rely on man to teach you. But to rely on the Holy Spirit to teach you and show the way. Show more Show less
