Hi I'm Brandon

I'm from the Boston area. I served an LDS mission in Taiwan and found a job (and a wife!) in Cleveland. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a software engineer, poet, musician and artist, though right now only the first one is very lucrative. I work on creating video games in my spare time. I grew up in a strong LDS family with friends of other religions who shared similar values. I get along well with people from all different kinds of backgrounds, and I'm always eager for a chance to practice my Chinese (learned on my LDS mission from 2001-2003).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I truly believe that the Gospel has been restored and that it is true. I am grateful for the opportunities I have as a result of my faith. I have felt the guidance of the Holy Ghost in my life as I try to do God's will. I am not perfect, but I always endeavor to work hard and improve, and I know that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I can live the kind of life I can be proud of.

How I live my faith

My wife and I currently teach Sunday School to a group of 7 five and six-year-olds. We love spending time with them, teaching them to be confident. We don't always stay on topic in class, but we try to convey our love of the gospel and Jesus Christ's love to the children that we teach. I am also a home teacher, which means that, along with a companion, I visit 3 families every month. I do my best to help the people that I home teach learn more about the gospel, support them through their struggles and get the help they need with home improvement or other projects.
