Hi I'm Liz

I am a painter. I am a Mom. I am Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel. I love to cook. I could spend days on end reading a good book. I speak 3 languages, but not well. I like to run and hike in the mountains and meet new people. I am married and have three sons and one daughter. I am a painter.

Why I am a Mormon

Everything good in my life I have because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know through the Holy Spirit that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that Jesus Christ lives and knows me personally. I take comfort in knowing that God has a plan for me. I find purpose in my daily tasks because I know His plan. I find answers and solutions to my questions and problems through prayer and reading the scriptures. I know that God lives and that I am His daughter.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week and renew the promises I made with God when I was baptised. I teach a children's Sunday School class and spend time visiting with other women that have needs. We pray and read scriptures at home and try to follow the Savior's example in our daily lives.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Liz
Yes. I believe God knows and cares for us and wants to be involved in our lives. He calls a prophet to lead his work on earth, and to help us understand God's will. A prophet guides us on the safe path in a confusing and troubled world. I have a testimony that there IS a living prophet and his counsel is inspired. Show more Show less

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Liz
We need a Savior because none of us is perfect. In order to return to Heaven, we have to be guiltless, and that is only possible through a Savior who has born the punishment for our sins and cleansed us through repentance. Christ gives us hope to keep trying. Show more Show less
