Hi I'm Kaylie Stewart

I'm an LDS singer/songwriter. I'm 19. I have fibromyalgia. It's hard but it has taught me a lot to rely on my Heavenly Father =)

About Me

I'm Kaylie. I'm 19 and I live in the Bay Area in California. I love to sing and write/play music. I'm currently majoring in Vocal Performance. I also play guitar and piano. I do a lot of performances around the area and have since I was 10. Music is pretty much my life and I love it. One day, I hope to write church music and record on EFY cds =) I also love dancing and I used to do plays. I was in the Oakland Temple Pageant for 2 years and it was the best experience of my life! I love my family. They are the best. They are my best friends. They helped make me who I am and I don't know where I'd be without them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My mom comes from a long line of Mormons and my father was a convert to the church. I have always loved the church and growing up with it, but I didn't really start taking it seriously until just recently. I always had that idea that I was good, so wasn't that good enough? But it's not. There is so much more. Why not be the best? They always tell you not settle- don't settle when it comes to yourself either. I always had a testimony of the church, but I still feel in a way that I had my own conversion. I let Him into my life and transform me. I put my life into His hands completely for the first time, and it was the best thing I could have done. When your life is in His hands, there is no reason to fear, which leaves faith to grow stronger. This church and this gospel have brought me the greatest joys in my life, have shown me who I really am, and have made me into the best I can be. How could it NOT be from God? =)

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by my example and treating others with kindness and respect. I also love to share the gospel with anyone that asks. I love being able to answer people's questions. I tend to make it pretty clear that I am LDS so I do get asked about it often.
